I Just recently got a pair of the latest Stanton v3 needles… and I have to report that they definitely kick major ass. I just have had consistently better bass response in the Stanton line over Ortophons. I moved one of my old Stantons into the office to my ripping station, and once again, even the older Stantons are better than the turntable standards from Shure.
I'm sure everyone has their opinion... so here's mine:The Stanton line of needles has a warmer and stronger bass response and is a better needle than ortophon for house music.
